Piano lesson for Kids

Lessons for very young children focus equally on playing at the piano and on rhythm and music games. Our approach makes it easy for children of all ages to learn while staying engaged and interested in music.

In keeping with our mission of promoting musical creativity we teach improvisation and music creation alongside note reading.

Teachers will aim to help a student gain confidence in their instrumental technique while maintaining an essential connection with the music. Lessons can also be geared towards group playing if the student is currently enrolled in a school or volunteer ensemble.

All lessons take place in Chicago or online.
